SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for understanding and developing assigned territory to maximize and grow revenue and profits by selling Swipeclock product solutions to existing customers and acquiring new business. The Territory Sales Representative will locate, qualify, nurture, close, and retain both distributor and end use customers and contacts within the specified territory.

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for understanding and developing assigned territory to maximize and grow revenue and profits by selling Swipeclock product solutions to existing customers and acquiring new business. The Territory Sales Representative will locate, qualify, nurture, close, and retain both distributor and end use customers and contacts within the specified territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Swipeclock’s core products via successful completion of a required sales training program, and utilize this knowledge to successfully sell product to new and existing customers.
- Create and execute a territory sales plan by working closely with the Regional Manager/Director of Sales that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports Company revenue targets.
- Optimize business development plan by working closely with Regional Manager to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency through development and prequalification of leads.
- Meet regularly with existing distributors and prospects to understand their evolving needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.
- Continuously expand customer understanding and use of Swipeclock product solutions and capabilities through seminars and training sessions.
- Build long-term, productive and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new distributors.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customer’s real-time needs.
- Work effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, Engineering, etc.) to promote sales within new and existing customers.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, customer related events, etc. to promote Swipeclock products and brand.
- Travel and visit end use customers in order to facilitate building strong relationships between distributors and end users.
- Coordinate customer project activities with Engineering, Product Management, Quality and Customer Service as necessary.
- Develop and propose sales and marketing plans to support business development within the framework of the Company’s Strategic Plan to meet customer needs.
- Achieve territory objectives for sales goals, revenue growth, new business, new product sales, T&E spending budgets, and other objectives determined by your Regional Manager.
- Occasionally, the Territory Manager will be asked and expected to perform various, miscellaneous, and non-standard duties as required.Such duties are diversified in nature and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the Company.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:
- No direct supervisory responsibilities.
- SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to continuously manage administrative functions to ensure quality and timeliness, manage accurate and timely sales activity and performance reports, analyze report data to project trends and build forecasts, maintain accurate and complete client and prospect database.

- Building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques.
- Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales.
- Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offering
- Cold calling companies within the territory and establishing needs.
- Putting together a list of target companies within the territory
- Analyzing competitor activities in the territory and assessing opportunities for business development
- Working to revenue targets and KPI’s as set by the Regional Manager and/or the Company
- Networking with businesses in the territory and building relationships
- Attending relevant industry events and conferences to build business
- Managing sales leads from other members of the Company
- Working closely with other territory managers and Regional Mangers
- Putting together sales strategies to target key accounts
- EDUCATION:
- B.A./B.S preferred, and/or other field related or equivalent work experience.
- EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years of prior Territory or Account Management.
- Experience selling to industrial distribution.
- Experience selling to end use customers/consumers.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification.
- Excellent presentation skills (development and delivery)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Possess Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Ability to work effectively in a home-based environment.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory (50%-75%)
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, possess a clean driving record, and auto insurance.
